I've been keeping the post man busy recently and as a result I have lots of lovely fabric bundles to share! Some of these are new collections, there are non cotton fabrics and a few extras I couldn't resist...

This gorgeous bundle is the new Terrestrial collection by Sara Watson for Cloud 9 Fabrics. It's totally up my alley, the colours are stunning and the detail in the prints is just beautiful.  The black and white prints in the centre are canvas, so lots of possibilities for bag making etc!

More new fabric below, Gathered by Bonnie Christine for Art Gallery Fabrics is full of pretty florals, soft motifs and sweet text print. I think it has an excellent mix of feature prints and really useful blenders. It's great to be able to use a collection as a whole and still have variety but it's also nice to separate the prints and easily mix them with other ranges.

For me, these prints stand out and would play well with others in my fabric stash. Grids are a must and a classic modern design that I'm using a lot, 'Aerial' is a winner! The 'Collected Stems' floral on the left is whimsical and would work with 30s repro prints and 'Simple Living' has excellent fussy cutting possibilities.

A bright geometric collection, next up is Craftbound by AGF Studio - full of summery colours and bold patterns. I think some of these would work beautifully as skirts or tank tops and the low volume cross print 'Marked Sights' would be a fabulous border / sashing print for a quilt. Craftbound will be available in August.

I've been thinking up a design and needed some supplies, thankfully Cloud Craft had just what I wanted. I got some fabulous neon iron-on vinyl, I've not used it yet but it's really vibrant in real life and will add a pop! The fabric is neon dots by Rico Design. The Zweigart white Aida band has such a sweet scallop edge and I do love hand stitching so this will encourage me to get my design made. The pink thread is Olympus sashiko, again I haven't tried it yet but it feels amazing and has a nice matte look. When Laura recommended this hummingbird needle threader I could not help myself!! It has a built in cutter too so very handy to have in my kit and obviously it's adorable.

And then when Cloud Craft posted on instagram about their beech wood embroidery hoops with brass screws I placed another order. I can't find my plastic hoop of a similar size and it's good to replace it with a wood one. It's beautifully made and the magpie in me loves that brass! I got some more Olympus sashiko thread, this time in green - pretty sure I had a plan for that but I've forgotten what it was, typical.

Next, more supplies for a design with more cute trim! This lot is from paper-and-string, a new to me shop recommend by Jess. It's an established online business and, you've been warned, totally packed with amazing crafty items.

I had to be sensible because it was tempting to buy all the things!! I'm smitten with the fun metallic Tattoo print by Rico Design and the stunning Mermaid's Scale vinyl - hard to photograph but incredible holographic shine.  I also got some Heathered Felt, to be honest I don't know that much about felt but they have a great selection and this feels quality. Finally I snagged some Teeny Tiny Pom Pom Trim because this colour combination, Tinsel Blush & Grey, makes my heart sing.

Despite previous attempts to be sensible, a sale at The Fabric Fox meant I caved and bought some fabric I had been coveting. A fat eighth bundle of Paper Cuts by Rashida Coleman Hale for Cotton + Steel meant I got all these beautiful prints for a good price. I also got a fun Made By Me label and some mint piping (again to add a little detail to my design - hoping if I keep mentioning it I will hold myself accountable to making!!).

And these cuties (some on sale) also jumped into my basket.

clockwise from top left: Sprinkle in Black Cat, Basics by Cotton + Steel; Sunbeam Natural, Spectacle by Christian Robinson for Cotton + Steel; Raccoons in Pink, Rocky Racoons by Alexander Henry Fabrics; Confetti Powder (metallic) by Rico Design and Bolt in Flower, Believe by Michael Miller Fabrics.

I am finishing up some sample sewing and then I plan on getting to work with all these lovelies! I hope you've all had a great weekend and enjoyed the sunshine if you're in the UK. I've mostly been sewing late at night when it's slightly cooler because I can't seem to focus! I really do wish someone would create a cool iron and also baste quilts for me ;)
