**Be sure to enter my GIVEAWAY! Open worldwide, end 1st March** Thanks to all of you who have left such nice comments so far, I have been giggling at some of the stories!
Inspiring words from my favourite poet. My sewjo tends to fluctuate but when I'm in the zone I have so many ideas I could burst and I just want to play with fabric!
I finished this Day Lily block for my Green Tea and Sweet Beans quilt:
And have had a lot of fun picking fabrics while planning my next couple of blocks. I think creating eclectic and beautiful (to me) combinations is my favourite thing to do.
I have also been working on some quilting for a cushion I am making, simple but effective:
Wishing you all a creative week!

Beautiful day lily! I love my Hera marker...I cannot believe all the little plus signs are centered in those diamonds!
Oh my goodness, keeping the plus signs in the centre of the quilting must have been a nightmare. I'm full of admiration :-)
What Mack and Mabel said - the plus signs in the middle of the quilting is awesome!!!
I love the day lily block - gorgeous fabric choices!
Wow, that plastic marking widget does a brilliant job! :o Awesome work getting all those crosses centred, and the daylily block is cool, too!
I can't believe how well the Hera marks the fabric. Must add it to the list of things to try
I have a Hera Marker and I love using it! Also, the day lily block is lovely!
Man, I really love the simplicity of that lattice stitching with what is definitely my all time favorite Cotton + Steel print and color. Love it. Is one direction of the creases just drawn with your bone folder marker or are they both stitched?
Thanks, I will try a hera marker. Getting tired of tracing all patterns on golden threads paper before machine quilting.
I am loving your hand pieced blocks. I think I really need to invest in this pattern and some starter fabrics - I am loving hand sewing/quilting/embroidery at the moment. Is the pattern well written or has it been fiddly to follow (as gypsy wife seems to be according to reviews)?
my head is fun but my hands are idle :( I need to declutter as it is my current block. Loving your work x
I love the day lily block, such great fabric combinations. It takes me ages to choose and slows down block creation, but it's fun too.
Your block is a stunner! I can't wait to see this quilt top all pieced together. It's going to be amazing!
Your newest block is gorgeous! I love the mix of fabrics!
I really like the day lily block, particularly the multi coloured dotty fabric. x
Nice block! And I love the quilting. Isn't the Hera marker the best thing ever? :-)
Loving the results of this week's creativity :o)
You are such an inspiration! ! Love the +in the centers too!♡♡♡
