**GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED**
Of course I consider myself a fabric addict but there is more to sewing than just fabric and we can't forget the handy notions that make it all possible and help us create beautiful things.
The Fat Quarter Shop are kindly sponsoring a giveaway of my chosen notions. I picked the ones I use a lot, wouldn't want to be without and would like to share with you because I know you will love them too!
So here are a few of my favourite notions:
- A pack of 50 Clover Regular Wonder Clips You don't know how brilliant these are until you start using them. Excellent for holding down binding, useful for bag making or any instance where you need to clip things together. I regularly use them just to keep my EPP or hand sewing pieces in order.
- Aurifil 50 wt thread #2021 The most fabulous thread in beautiful Natural White. I use this colour a lot and it is perfect for piecing.
- Clover White Seam Ripper I would like to rid the world of rubbish seam rippers, using a really good one makes a horrible task so much easier. The larger handle and sharp ripper make all the difference!
- Sewline Styla Water Erasable Pen I use various methods of marking for different projects but one of the most reliable and useful is a water erasable pen. I use it for quilting, embroidery and hand piecing.
- Clover Patchwork Pins I have used lots of different pins but glass head pins are my very favourite, there is something so charming about them and these extra fine ones are perfect for patchwork.
When I shop online I like to be able to add haberdashery items to my basket and the Fat Quarter Shop stocks a fabulous range of notions along with their vast selection of beautiful fabric, so don't forget to check out their Notions and Thread section when you are shopping!
**GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED**

Hard to pick just one, right! As I'm sitting here sewing binding on a quilt, I wonder how I ever survived without wonderclips! Thanks for the giveaway!
I sent you a friend request on FB and shared the giveaway with the Wolf Hills Quilters.
I love notions of all kinds! Thread, well it is always on my 'gotta buy' list!

I can't live without a seam ripper & a new one would be welcome as I'm currently unseaming an entire quilt border - I sewed it on with the wrong side showing!
i love the clover clips.
I agree with your comment about seam rippers, a much used piece of equipment in my sewing box!
Happy Monday morning! I hope your day is bright and sunny :)

I love wonder clips. They are fantastic for making bags!
Hmmm, I am definitely used to a seam ripper but I do have to put some effort into it. After reading your description of the great merchandise I had an epiphany. I probably shouldn't have to put shoulder muscles to work to rip out a seam, so it would be lovely to win that nice, large white one. If not, I predict that I will be going to the store soon. Thanks for the giveaway! Beth

Well, if you read my earlier post, you know I dreadfully need a seam ripper. But I do have my ethics to consider before I just up and follow a blog simply for their booty. Then I found your store, and I read that you are the head of a movement to which I have been a member of with vigorous apathy and no clue it existed. So, hell yes, I am following you on bloglovin and I expect Santa will see the appropriate gift for me this year would have to be don't drink and quilt on a shirt so that I can read your book whilst reading it in my comfy reclining chair. So glad I happened upon your blog!

I haven't tried those clips either and I also heard good things about hera marker. Maybe I get that one one day too :)
I follow you via bloglovin and IG. Thx.
Oh this is a wonderful give a way. I would love the clips and the pen the most. But they are all great. Thank you.

Love the Clover clips and have already 50 of them (well, for not any more, as I gave a few to a friend and my kids play with them or they get lost otherwise...), they are really brilliant. The seam ripper looks efficient, the Aurifl thread is always in demand, so, basically, a great giveaway!
For the off-chance I'm going to win: You can also contact me via guanako01 at hotmail dot com if the other address doesn't work...
Thanks a lot and all the best to you, hope you are better now!

The clips are on my Christmas wish list and would be thrilled to be lucky enough to win them. Thanks for this giveaway opportunity.

If fabulous quilting needles make all the difference... I wonder how my life would change with fabulous glass headed pins in it ;) Its all in the details, isn't it?

I love the Clover clips. I love not getting my fingers pricked with pins while sewing on binding!
My favourite notion would have to be my mini snips! So good for getting into little corners :) great giveaway!
I use the clips and they are wonderful. They would be a great stocking stuffer for a quilting friend.
I am just now making some sashing strips in order to finish the Mystery Quilt blocks I just participated in. I couldn't make up my mind what type of pattern I wanted to do for my first quilt so this Mystery was the best solution. I'm pleased with my first effort and wanted to add a little more to the design, so here I am adding and ironing tonight with just a small break to check my mail ;)
I've never used Wonder clips but would love to give them a go, my favourite notion is my seam ripper, it's a Janome one came with the machine and is awesome!

Great giveaway. I much prefer haberdashery to notion. It's a pity I can't fit it into everyday conversation more often.

New follower on +feedly. Thanks.
My seam ripper is missing. My LQS is so far away and I'm trying the break the big box habit so it'll be a while before I replace it. However, my embroidery scissors and tweezers have been pulling double duty. Thanks for a chance to win.
I think the wonderclips would be the most useful. I always stick myself with pins. :) shivercarla at gmail dot com

I have a set of 12 of those little red binding clips and love them! It would be much nicer to have more! A better seam ripper would be wonderful - the one I have came with my sewing machine and I think it is well past its best before date.
I have just begun to follow you by e-mail.
I've just finished my first big basic-hand-quilted tote bag, and now off to start another bag for a gift!
I definitely could do with some more pins and wonderclips, so thanks for the chance to win!
You know I stalk you too ;o)
All of these are great ideas. I've seen Clover Regular Wonder Clips in action and they look a lot easier than the glue and hair clips I have tried! Thanks for putting my name in the hat for the drawing.
My favorite notion from my pincushion is the Clover Cheat Needles - they make hiding the ends of threads so easy and really improve the way my work looks.
I feel like I'm missing out on some huge party because I still haven't tried Wonder Clips. I should really join the club! :)
I follow you via Bloglovin and IG.
What a noble task, to "rid the world of bad seam rippers..." I have no idea if I have a bad one, but I lack all the other pretty notions. Am I really missing out that much? Would love to find out. ;)
Thanks for the giveaway!
And I already follow your blog (I use Feedly)
Thanks for sharing those clips - I've never seen them and they look super useful!

And I never had a spool of Aurifil in my hands.
I am a long time follower through GFC, and your blog is also on my blogroll. :-)
Oh, where would we be without great notions? I definitely need to upgrade to a better seam ripper, as I broke one of mine recently - thankfully, I didn't slice myself or my project in the progress - but I was NOT impressed.

I love Aurifil! The seam ripper looks great!
I follow your blog.

Thank you.
I'd like to try the clips!
I'd find the clover clips most useful, I've been having trouble holding my binding turned to the back of quilts so it can be machine stitched down. The clips I use at the moment tend to pull the binding out of place when I remove them.
