Life has been hurling lemons at me recently and it's pretty exhausting trying to keep making lemonade. The past few days I've done no sewing, just spending time trying to sort out life in general. I've felt all blah as a result and hormonal to boot. This time of year, however, makes me want to get organised so I've been concentrating on enjoying planning with fun stationary and I'll show you more of that tomorrow.
Tonight I'm regrouping and relaxing by getting on with some EPP that will hopefully make a lovely (late) bee block for Nicky.
I have been enjoying the last days of the summer holidays with all three kids at home and tried not to get all emotional when the older two went back to school this morning.
This little mischief brightened my day when we randomly played with loads of toys on the kitchen floor. Kids are so great at creating spontaneous hilarity. Her t-shirt is my motto for this week.

When my girls were younger the going back to school was always a stressful time Lucy, then after some years I realised after those first few weeks everyone seemed to settle into their new routines and things did get better! Your little girl is just so cute and adorable, I would love to play with her! That's a great motto she's wearing we should all remember. Hope you feel better really soon

I hope things get better soon. On another note, I was VERY emotional this morning when all three of mine went back to school, but I have a feeling my emotions may have been the opposite of yours ;-)

Lemon throwing can suck. But that cheery face at the bottom is enough to melt anyone's heart. Hope you get over the blues, the lemons start arriving already made into lemonade and you get some sewing time too.

Soldiering onward by stitching is my most effective strategy during lemon seasons!! I guess those times are meant to help us appreciate the easier times!
