It does seem that people like to have kids names on stuff and I love doing it! Appliqué is the fastest way but I do love to do some stitching...
I'm working on finishing another custom order and this will be turned into a cushion by the end of the week.
I'm snatching whatever time I have to sew but what with teachers striking (rightly) today, my son now on antibiotics for infected chickenpox spots and a very inquisitive 14 month old, I have three little ones keeping me very busy. I also have two helpers to sort out a huge pile of recycling and chuck it into the bins so that's the rest of my afternoon sorted!

Cool that you have so many custom orders! So all 14/15mo old are inquisitive then, baby MiH is pointing to everything, and wants to grab (eat?) everything!
Goodness! Love that we tell our kids to never talk to strangers or tell them their names, but hey, here's my name plastered all over my stuff!!!
No strike action for mine thankfully!
Super makes! Beautiful.
Your poor kiddos. Hope they are back to their healthy selves quickly!
Cute stuff Lucy! I love the pixel heart pouch.
Lovely makes and so pleased you are getting orders. I just do not know how you do it all. I was still talking gibberish when mine were that age.
Oh you do sound busy, Lucy! Your custom orders are gorgeous.
Did you get all those orders at the Vintage Fair? It was so lovely to meet you and your Mum. I can't believe you've been so productive with two 'helpers' and a poorly person !!!
Lovely bunch of custom orders. I love the pouch and that pink pillow is just fabulous!
I love these custom makes! And, yes, put their name on it and it is golden! So sorry to hear about the chicken pox! And a teachers strike?! Oh my! You are busy, busy!
Go you on the order front! (seriously though, did someone actually name their child 'house'?)
lovely orders :-) I must learn not to fear applique!
Lovely sewing, and I hope everyone is better soon.
My daughter used to search everywhere for something with her name on that she could buy in a shop, a notebook, a keyring, a pen anything. Never a thing, and her name isn't even that unusual, just faded from popularity. She would have loved all these. Hope Fred feels better soon
Oh Lucy, sounds like you have your hands full! Hope your sonsis ok. Love your makes
