This week my eldest daughter has been behaving like the little girl who had a little curl and she said the funniest and sweetest thing the other day. She said, "I know everything in the whole wide world but I don't know how to spell long numbers because I'm not five yet. I do know how to love mummy." Well surely loving me is the most important thing she needs to know!

She does know the important stuff! My son said last year, "I know everything. Ian doesn't know everything. But when he's 5 like me, then he'll know everything too." Gotta love the simplicity of kids.

Those are the ones to treasure! A kid asked me today if I was as old as Tutankhamun! I said, not quite, but I am working on it!
I watched that movie with my mom when I was a little girl and to this day, it is by far my favourite Elvis movie. :-)
