Ok my original list wasn't very creative but then I knew there were things I needed to make but couldn't remember so it's time for an update...
- Christmas gifts for kid's school teachers - need ideas!!
- Christmas ornaments - planned but not started
- Quilt for one of my best friends Giant Chevron Quilt - done!
and I'm adding:
- yoga bag - I started making this for a gift last Christmas but what with being so heavily pregnant I never finished it. This will be the year!
- custom quilt order - since I'm being paid this really has to be done.
- dresses for the girls - I have wanted to do this for a long time (when there was only 1 girl!) so I think I should finally get round to it before they get much bigger and I need more fabric ;) I have had the supplies to make a dress since I started blogging, how sad that it's been tucked away all that time!

Sewing-wise, difficult one, think they'd appreciate anything... Bags? Something fun for class?
My go to gift is a fabric basket with a selection of my homemade preserves. They always get a good reception and pretty much every time I get asked if I would have the jars back and refill.
Isn't it so true! Making dresses is fun for the little ones because it is so much cheaper (less fabric). I can not wait to see what you come up with.
Last Christmas I made a covered journal for Miss C.'s teacher - the tutorial I used is Rachel's over at Stitched in Color. It was super easy and I highly recommend it. At the end if the school year I gave her teacher a zippy pouch. Hope that helps! xoxo
I am making some winter themed fabric baskets using the pattern on Pink Penguin and filling them with hot chocolate sachets, packs of tissues, lip salve and some sweets. I am also making small tissue holder/packs, I can't remember what they are called but they look really pretty and take less than 10 minutes to run up.
We are making bath bombs as teacher presents. The kids can help do them. Presented in an old jam jar that's been decorated with glass pens (again by the kids)...
Make girl clothes while you can, because the day will come (as I have found out) where they are no longer interested.
Teacher presents can be tricky but you have been given some good ideas. I think Susan is right about making dresses sooner! Di x

For the teacher's gifts I like when the kids take part so I let them draw on the back side (mug rugs) or lining (pouches). We use fabric markers which are easy to use even for small kids.
