I love the finish-a-long for keeping my projects in check and also for giving me goals. Here's my list for the last quarter of 2013...
1. My Feather Bee blocks quilt - needs basting and quilting
2. Apple Bib - although I made two of these bibs I've had a third one unfinished on my desk for months, I'm putting it on the list so that I finish it!
3. Pattern testing quilt - top done, needs basting and quilting
4. Star Flower QAL - need to get this pieced already!
5. Pencil cases/zip bags for gifts - I've sewn together some little panels of scraps, I want to add a bit of applique too.
6. Woodland Sampler - since it's nearing the end of the year I would like to actually finish the sampler in December and try to frame it so I can display it proudly.
7. Rose Star Quilt - this one might be a push since I'm going to hand quilt it but I've decided since the feather quilt is so huge I don't need to make this one so big. Also the thought of making loads more started to feel overwhelming and I don't want this special quilt to turn into an unloved one so I'm going to do a few more and see how big I want it to be.
8. I got these gorgeous spotty curtain fabrics from Terry's Fabrics and I'm going to use them to make a pouffe (ottoman). I'm especially in love with the lime dots and I've been wanting a pouffe for absolutely ages (while nursing it would be so much more comfortable!) and now this giant plastic bag of beans has arrived I really need to get sewing because there's no room to hide it in my house!
9. Finally I need to finish up my Le Challenge project for this month's theme of THRILLER, I'm really enjoying this mad cross stitching!
So here's hoping I can get some checks off my list and thanks Leanne for being an excellent host and motivator!

Quite the list! Love the feathers and your cross-stitch sampler - so jealous! I think I'm on April. ;-(
Oh, I can't wait to see those feathers finished! And the hand-stitched. I've loved hand-stitching precious ones for us, slowly and when I feel like it, so it becomes therapy. I've even bound one before I finished quilting it just so it could hang around the lounge room without getting ruined. :)
love the feathers, and that rose star is so beautiful!

Impressive list Lucy. Your feather quilt will be so fabulous!
What a busy beaver - they all look great :-)
Your feathers just drew me right in! And I miss doing cross-stitch. Need to get back into it, but one thing at a time, right? Good luck with your list!
Oh oh oh I am so excited about your le challenge entry and ALL the other quilts! OMG so many!
So many lovely projects! I'm especially looking forward to seeing the feather quilt done :-)
love those feathers so much!
Crikey, that is a list and a half, good luck with it.
Wow that's quite a list. So many lovely things. I have a lot of those beans so selfishly I'm going to ask you to start with the pouffe because if I made one I might be able to hide my surplus bean mountain which is currently filling the dining room. ;-)
Great list, your feather and rose star quilts look like they'll be absolutely gorgeous!
Can't wait to see the feather quilt finished
Good luck with the list! That Rose Star is just stunning!!
I'm so glad that bag of beans is not in my house, as I just know a little person would have made a hole in the bag and they would be everywhere!!!
You have some gorgeous projects on your list. Di x

Great projects and I am totally in love with both Feathers and Rose Stars.
All of your WIP's are gorgeous, but especially the feathers and the star flower. Yes, good luck hiding that bag o' beans!
Ooh, lots of lovely goodies to be getting on with! And I took in a parcel from Terry's yesterday with that same grey spotty fabric! My new kitchen blind - we have great taste. *g*
