Today I will mostly listening to this on repeat and trying to work out exactly how many songs have sampled lyrics from this... I think it's a lot!!
I need to do a bit of dancing, it's been a tough week so far. Lois has terrible nappy rash, the worst I've ever seen and is quite rightly rather grumpy. Fred has been getting in trouble at school and I've had horrible mother's guilt about it (did I do something? Is he angry, upset, stressed? Oh he's only 5, I want to keep him at home and wrap him in cotton wool - that sort of thing!).
Luckily I have a project to keep me busy and my mind off my worries... my supplies for the Le Challenge theme THRILLER have arrived so I get to start work, here's an annoying sneak peek of what I needed:

Slick Rick is sure to put your into a better mood! A trick I was told about the booty rash is egg white rubbed all over. It worked for us just about overnight. Good luck, and it will get better! Hugs!
Diaper rash is the worst! And trouble at school is just so hard. There's only so much you can do from home. :( I hope things start looking up for you soon!
Oh poor Lois. Isn't it a phase they go through at 5, not you them... I am sure it will go very soon. So excited about thriller but really need to get started on mine!
Sorry Fred and Lois have been having crappy weeks. Not been all great here either. I am completely intrigued by your sneaky peak!
Have you tried Metanium cream? It's a really thick, yellow paste so doesn't rub off easily and was the only thing that helped when my boys had bad nappy rash (many years ago!) Hope things get better for you all soon! x
I hope the week ends on a high note! The only cream that worked with Rose when she was so bad she couldn't sit down was Bepanthen. I don't know if you've already tried it, but it was amazing how quickly it helped.
Don't beat yourself up about Fred, I know thats what mums have to do! If in doubt a sticker chart for good days with an end of the week reward worked for my middle boy!
I was also going to say metanium although be careful as it is a bugger to wash off your clothes and furniture. My no1 son's bottom would bleed every time he was teething, I also think he had allergy issues to certain foods but could never pinpoint exactly what. nappy changing was very traumatic for both of us! I would also put porridge oats in a stocking and add to the bath, nice and soothing for any skin issues inc chicken pox, is Fred in YrR or Yr1? He is just finding his feet and twill settle soon enough!
I hope everyone feels better and finds their groove again. I'm sending peaceful vibes your way :-)
Poor Lois :(
Don't stress the school thing - we have a little Miss Perfect twin at school, and a 'grey cloud' regular xxx
That IS kind of an annoying sneak peek. I gives me no clue whatsoever. Oh, I hope Lois is feeling better soon.
poor mummy who has to deal with everyone's issues. poor fred - school trouble is awful. poor lois! my baby has a horrid nappy rash this week, too. i can't get her changed fast enough, poor baby. hope the thriller bit in your life keeps you sane! {hugs}
Poor little Lois, that sounds so painful. I always used Bepanthen like Joanne above. Could it be thrush though, if its not clearing up? I hope Fred settles. My youngest is starting school in February and I'm already stressing. That's a very annoying sneaky peek!
