Yesterday was my son's last day at Reception so of course that meant gifts for the teachers. For his class teacher I made this cushion with a bit of hand stitching
And then we made all the teaching staff in his class these lavender (from our garden) stuffed hearts:
So it's 'hello summer' and I'm dreaming about some lovely fabrics!
Like the totally gorgeous 30's Playtime at the Fat Quarter Shop
I'm hoping fabric fairies magically send me some of this!
Prints to Polka Dots have now got Geekly Chic in stock, as well as a great sale going on.
Fluffy Sheep Quilting has these cute Little Matroyshka Dolls and Clocks on sale, as well as other gorgeous prints.
and Christa Quilts is having 20% off Laural Burch Fabulous Felines this week.

I wasn't sure I liked 30's playtime but now that I think about it... Split up as stash builders it'd be great! I like the black.
If you see those fairies send them my way, that 30's playtime is drool worthy.
Oh! Those lavender hearts are super cute!
love the 30's playtime. It's so happy! And I'm sure that the teachers were thrilled to receive your gifts!

Pretty pressies! Enjoy your summer holidays :o)
Your teachers and assistants are very lucky people
Gorgeous teachers' pressies...and lavender from the garden??!! :D
Lovely gifts Lu. The hearts are especially cute. Have found myself scrolling through lots of fabric stores of late - so no more temptation please! ;)
such pretty pressies :-) And I am looking out for the fabric fairies too!
The cushion is awesome and those lavender hearts are amazing!!! I wish my students gave me fantastic gifts like this! I get bupkis!
All of these fabrics look amazing. I am not allowed to buy any more fabric until I use up the stash I have right now... but, I want more!
Such nice gifts, Lucy Angel. The handstitching is a wonderfully personal touch.
Lots of fun fabrics. I think I like those clocks the best.
