I made more Skull Tooth Fairy cushions - get the tutorial here
I also made a set of coasters, using trimmings from the Braidadelic quilt.
I roped in some helpers to take pins out of the cushions I've sewn (need a good press then I'll show you them!)

a new use for selvedges!! (this was only because I couldn't find any string but I like it!)

don't be fooled, they can fight like cats and dogs but these two siblings love each other so much!
I'm off to finish sewing this binding :)

Oh yeah. I like that new use of it too. Tooth pillows are quite funny.
I love the skull tooth pillows! I know a 6-yr-old who is way into skulls and his first tooth is loose. Hmmmm. :)

Busy busy as usual! The use of the selvedge is very clever. And I love that you put your kids to work (though I'm suspecting they don't realize that it's work!). I've let my kids off too easy I think. :)

lucy, i love your green shag carpet. we had that exact carpet when i was a kid. can't tell you how many of my mom's sewing pins got lost in it. and found by our tender little feet! oh, the nostalgia. =) you've got tons of wonderful projects going on, as usual. i've wanted to do an art line like the one you managed for ages. good for you! the selvage factor is billiant.

Great idea for salvages. I've been saving them recently but I'm never going to sew with them, but I may just do this with them. My kids are the same. They fight and niggle and annoy, but then when Amelia went on school camp a few weeks ago the biggest hugs when she returned were from and for her younger brothers.
How many times did your helpers stab themselves/each other with the pins? ;o)
