I'm all about the throw size quilt at the moment. They add such a lovely splash of colour to the room and they're great for snuggling under in the evening!
I like the throw size quilt also!
baby quilts all the way, they're quick to put together, and it makes for a much more fun project. : )
Lap quilts! I've only purchased one kit ever, and I've already raided the included fabrics for a different quilt (oops). ;)
I've never bought a kit but if I ever do it'd probably be for a baby quilt. Christa has a great range of kits, I've enjoyed looking through them!
I've never bought a kit but I'd choose a lap quilt size!
Fun! I almost never order kits because I'm afraid it would just sit here staring at me and making me feel guilty for not working on it every time I walked by... But, I think I'd probably go with a throw quilt because then I could keepit and we'd use it! ;)
One that I can have a nap under on the couch :) I just completed a 97 inches square quilt top ---- HUGE so a lap quilt next! Christa has a great shop - I've ordered from her before and it was very fast to the UK. amycav at hotmail dot com
Lap size are my faves! Thanks for the great giveaway!

I like to make and give throw size quilts because they are very versatile and can be used on the couch or on the end of a bed.
I tend to make throw sized quilts and something somewhere between a baby quilt & a throw when making them for new babies. That way they don't outgrow them too quickly.:-)
I have never bought a kit before, but if I would it would be for a throw size.
I like quilt sizes that actually fit on beds, so I guess I would say queen or king. Although my daughter can't seem to have enough throw quilts. Only problem is, she likes them to be almost the size of a twin quilt!
I've never ordered a kit, but I think if I did it would be a baby quilt. That would surely save me time when gift-giving. :)
I almost never buy a quilt kit, I love to choose my own fabrics for a project, but if I did I would probably go for a throw size. Perfect for gifts.
Throw size is my favorite... anything larger than that gets to be too much for me.
I don't usually buy kits, but I would be more likely to purchase a kit for a smaller project. Mostly because paying the cost of a larger quilt all at once is daunting - I prefer to buy my fabric a little at a time so I can remain in denial :) I would also consider a kit for something like a quilted pillow. i think what would tempt me to buy a kit would be if there were a larger variety of fabrics included that would be time consuming or pricey to purchase seperately. thanks for the giveaway!
I prefer to make throw sizes. I have purchased a tabblerunner quilt kit.
Throw size- because I like big quilts but get bored easily
(kerryATpenny-dog.co.uk)
Probably throw sized because I don't really like quilting anything bigger on my home machine.
I have never bought a kit, but if I did it would probably be for a small project, like a baby quilt. Don't know if I'd buy a kit for a huge quilt.
Throw size.. just the right amount of project to work on.. not too big for my machine or for me to get bored with it and not too small I can't or someone else not use.
Ooooh I love Christa's shop! I have never bought a quilt kit, but I think I would choose bed size. Thanks for the chance to win :)
I've never tried a kit but I'd choose a throw or bed size. Thank you for the chance to win :)
i normally make bed size quilts or art quilts that i hange on the wall.
I only bought a kit once and it was for a wall hanging, about 30" square: it was great as I was new to quilting and everything was there for me
I prefer baby sized quilts since I am still new to quilting. Anything bigger and I get overwhelmed!
Thanks for the lovely giveaway :-) I would say throw - just big enough and doesn't hit the pocket too much.
I like making throw sized quilts but I am willing to make larger!
throw sized kits - because they are larger and make a great gift
Definetly a throw size fan. Thanks for the giveaway to you both!
I am in a quilt frenzy here. After the flu went through this family with a vengance, I have tried to sew as much as I can. Thanks for a chance to win. Have a happy week.
I love throw sized quilts!
I am into making throw size quilts now.I have more than enough big quilts (and big UFOs). I love Christa
s site and have my eye on one of her kits already.
nabrodeur85374@yahoo.com
Now that the rush of babies is over (why do they all seem to come at once?), I prefer the throw size. They make a nice gift, and can be used much more easily than a full-sized bed quilt that is too big to be dragged around or thrown on a chair back. Thanks for the great giveaway opportunity.
I haven't really used kits before, but my favorite size quilt to make is throw size. I do love giving throws as gifts.
Thanks for the giveaway.
I have never bought a kit but I would probably like a throw sized one best.
I like to make bed-size quilts - twin, double or queen, depending on the intended recipient.
Gosto de RAINHA para minha cama e para presentear, tenho feito para os meus netos berço grande.
Obrigada.
tiacarminhapezzuto@gmail.com
I like the lap quilt/throw size - I put them over the back of the sofa and they change the room to match my mood!
I like baby best. Like you say, they are quick and satisfy my need for instant gratification!
I love baby quilts but I would love to make a king size quilt. I am a little intimidated though. Thank you for this opportunity. Angela
I don't usually buy quilt kits, but if I were to I would buy a lap sized quilt because that is what I make the most of
I would buy a large throw or even a queen if the colors were right. I have the Bonnie and Camille flower kit. Thank you.
Baby or throw size appeal to me most.
I like bed size quilts of all sizes. How many quilts is too many to have in one house????? OOOOh, pick me!!!
I'm into quilting period! LOL I love throws but being a Grandma I'm so into baby quilts as well. Have a grand-daughter that is getting married so looking for that special kit for her. Beautiful baby. They grow so fast!!
email is Travelingro@gmail.com
I 'm pretty new to quilting I have yet to purchase a kit. But When I do it will probably be a throw sized one.
conn_and_vans_mom(at)yahoo(dot)com
I don't usually buy kits, but I would prefer throw sized quilts. My kids are getting too big for baby sized and I am running out of friends who are still having kids. Throw sized are just right, big enough for adults to snuggle with and don't take too long to put together.
I like either the throw or the bedsize quilt (unless the baby quilt is one that could be hung on a wall). Whether I sew a throw size or a bedsize, I always use flannel on the back - it adds a little extra cuddle factor!
I bought a Kit one time...was fun to put together....was Baby-size for a friend. I like Throw sizes most...'cause you know the person will use it often (& feel your Hugs!).
Thanks so much for chance to win your Drawing too! :)
I have never bought a kit before, but I would have to say that I like to try out a baby quilt size kit for my baby girl...
Baby is all I am thinking of at the moment because we have a brand new baby in our extended family... and his quilt is first on my to do list.
Throw size are my favorite since they're pretty much the universal gift for anyone.
shel704 at aol dot com
My favorite type of quilt is a throw or lap sized - it's the biggest I can really quilt comfortably on my own machine, and I love making them so we can use them every night when we sit down to relax in the living room!
I like to make large quilts. I start out making a small one then fall in love with it and then super size it.
I haven't ever bought a kit, but if i did, i would start with either the baby quilt or a lap size. Thank you very much for the chance.
a.ladyfarmer at yahoo dot com
I love buying kits of all sizes. Doing my fabric shopping almost exclusively online it's a great way to be sure the fabrics look good together.
Thanks for the giveaway :-)
I love a throw that is big enough to cover a twin bed. That way it has more than one use!
I really like the throw quilt. You can leave it on the couch or rocking chair and it looks good. I love to snuggle under one while watching T.V. bpfrimmer@yahoo.com
I like the throw size quilts. Not to big... not to small... just right!
Shawn
I've never bought a quilt kit because I rebel against the idea of making the exact same quilt that somebody else made. But that said I think I might consider using quilt kits for baby quilts... I have a lot of pregnant friends and need to have somebody do some of the thinking for me on gifts for them!
I've never bought a kit before. But a throw is a good size because anyone could use one. Most people already have a quilt or blanket on their bed.
Jjjcwebb at hotmail dot com
I prefer Queen or King. Sometimes you just want to sew with a no brainer.
I'm a baby and throw size quilter all the way. So much easier to quilt and make great gifts. Would love to win the $20 to put toward one of Christa's kits. Love the Chevron and the Churn Dash. Fingers crossed.
Recently I'm all about the throw size. Enough to be useful, but I can still quilt it at home. Perfect.
Thanks, Lucy. I love the QA's at Christa's Quilts. Thanks also for the giveaway.
Large bed size!
I love throw size quilts. That is a great size to try out a new pattern or color way without making a huge commitment. When I buy a kit it is usually throw size. They also make great gifts!
Throw size. Thanks for hosting this giveaway and to Christa, too. And thanks for the chance!
I choose large size.Lap is just a bit to small to do much with for other than a kid, the throw size is okay, but if I am going that large, might as well go for the gold and get a large size to use all the time! Thanks for the drawing!
I love minis and throws! I have ordered fabulous tools and fabric from Christa Quilts and not only was the shipping price great, but it arrived to Sweden really quickly!
Thank you for the opportunity for the gift certificate. I have enjoyed purchasing fabric from Christa's quilts and highly recommend it to others.
Throw size for sure!
I like throw quilt size.
I've never made a full quilt (yet) or purchased a kit. But if I was going to purchase a kit I'd buy a throw sized one. That seems a very useful size but still manageable (since I'm a newbie).
I haven't purchased a kit due to finances, but it would probably be a throw size. I am a very slow new hand quilter. lol. thanks for the giveaway. vickise at gmail dot com
HI! I LIKE BABY SIZE QUILTS BECAUSE THAT IS MY CHARITY QUILTING PASSION!
THANKS FOR SHARING!
msstitcher1948@yahoo.com
I like crib size, because it's the only size I've done, and the larger ones still intimidate me!
It depends on the pattern, but I probably prefer lap quilts or throw quilts.
Throws are as large as I can manage to quilt...thanks for the chance at a great giveaway!
l love bed sized thanks
I love throw quilts at the moment they add a sparkle to any room and are very useful.
I've never bought a quilt kit before but I'd probably say baby.
I am pretty new to quilting, so I would try a baby or lap quilt. I really like to make wall hangings too.
I like lap size quilts.
I love throw size..fun to make and give as gifts (plus I'm a bit intimidated to try a really large size lol)!!! Thanks for the sweet giveaway :)
If I were going to buy a kit, I think a baby one, literally for a baby, would be the most likely, because I could then make something from fabric that I would not normally buy. Thanks for the chance x
I think baby kits are cool, b/c you can whip up a quick gift with half the work done for you. :) Great giveaway, Lucy and thanks to Christa. :) xo
I already like the sizes she does, She makes great tutorials and the fabrics don't cost much to make the smaller sizes.
Probably smaller is best for us in Australia cause it saves on shipping but I think throw size are more usefull.
I love making throw sized quilts from kits - more affordable and a thoughtful gift too!
I like throw sized quilts they are just the right size to snuggle under in a chair! They make great gifts anytime of year!
Although I have yet to buy a quilt kit yet, I believe I would go for the lap sized kit. In general, these are my favorite size to quilt up. They're always just right.
Kits are wonderful...even after the project is complete, there's tons of fabric left over for other projects!
I like throw quilts. Just enough blocks and I can quilt them on my home machine. Also, not many babies in my life lately...
i've never used a kit but probably lap size
I would love to get a baby quilt kit - they are such a time saver when I need gifts!
thanks for this giveaway!

I enjoy baby quilts and lap quilts - they are relatively quick to make and easier to hold and work with when handquilting!! Thanks for the chance!
Throw or lap sized quilts are my favorite size.
Throw size quilts are my favorite.
Thanks for the chance to win!
wigglypup2(at)yahoo(dot)com
throw size quilts are a good size for me. Not to big, not to small.
I have purchased fabric several times from Christa but haven't ever bought a kit. Probaly because I am fairly new to quilting and have always been afraid they would be too difficult. But I would prob choose a lap quilt! Thanks for the chance at a giveaway!
Throw quilts are the best. Change them out for seasons and moods.
contentncm at yahoo dot com
Lapsize offer so much versatility! Thanks for the chance to win.
I like throws. They can be used to cover a baby but they're also big enough to cover and adult's lap! :)
Throw/lap size quilts are my favorite to make. Thanks for the giveaway!
I always need help in the design department with quilts, especially, what colors look good together. I know Christa has got it together in that department and I would love a bed sized quilt that she has kitted up!
Lap/throw size are great. Thanks for the chane to win.
With two young ones, I prefer lap-size or smaller.
I don't usually buy kits, but it would be a throw-sized one for me. Thanks for the chance to win!
Love your site! I need to check out what the FUGLY is all about. I prefer full size kits - that way someone has put ALL the fabrics together. I have no problem coming up with the smaller stuff! Thanks for encouraging us to visit your site!
Thanks you so much for the opportunity to participate in your give-away!
While lap quilts are much quicker to assemble and quilt I prefer queen size. I have my own long arm quilting business and I just love using my machine.
I like throw size quilts. They are big enough to keep you warm but small enough to be quilted by hand.
I guess if I bought a kit, I'd like to do a baby quilt. I like smaller quilts that I can get finished quickly.
cheers
maggie
I prefer the throw sized quilts--quicker payoff (I get distracted easily). Thanks for the chance to win.
I mainly do larger throw sized quilts with an occasional bed sized quilt thrown in every now and again. Thanks for the chance at your giveaway.
Throw size are probably my favorite, but baby quilts are fun and easy too.
Love the chevron kits. Thanks so much for a chance at the gift certificate!
Love to make smaller quilts, crib six, a they go faster and offer more instant gratification. Right now I am working on a twin size quilt, and even though that is not huge, it is taking me much longer.
I am always making small quilts for either a baby or a lap quilt. Thanks for a great giveaway.
I love making baby quilts for my friends. In a few years I will get to make them for my own grandchildren.
um...I like large quilts, but I've never actually got the guts to make one myself.
I love Christa's quilt kits. My favorite size is long twin size because I'm making high school graduation quilts for my three oldest grandchildren. The first three grandbabies are nearly grown and I'm sending them off to college with dorm quilts!!
vickihoffman@comcast.net
Bed sized quilts are my favorite to make. jennyg4@live.com.au
I like "large" throw size quilts--something a grown up could curl up underneath and take a nice, warm nap.
I like throw size - fast to go together and can be used by everyone and I don't have to know the size of their bed!
Christa offers fantastic bundles and gorgeous patterns. Your giveaway is a real treat!
Thanks for the chance!
My favorite would be large bed sized, but too much expensive international shipping, so I order smaller !
i have learned over time to try and have a variety of types and sizes going different things for different moods and reasons donations,gifts,family.Thank-you for the great give away.Becky
derry04@yahoo.com
I usually go for larger quilt sizes as I have 4 daughters and 1 grand daughter. So far I have made the 2 eldest & my grand daughter a quilt.
lismartion@hotmail.com
I love to make large bed size quilts.
Bed size quilts come out very expensive in kits, so baby size is best.
Thanks for the opportunity! :)
For kits I like the smaller sizes, wall hangings, projects, lap size. Thanks for the chance to win in the giveaway.
I've never actually made a quilt from a kit. But I like a medium to large sized quilt so that you can wrap it around yourself and snuggle down!
the smaller the better, thanks
I love quilt kits! The chevron is beautiful! Thanks for the chance to win
Probably baby quilt size! Easier to have a variety of fabrics that way.
I like throw size quilts - good for covering up while watching a movie on a chilly Wisconsin night (we've been having a lot of those lately). And I'm too chicken to make a quilt to cover my king size bed!
wall hanging or baby size quilts!
I like the throw size quilts most of the time unless someone has "hinted" for a bed size one.The throws are more manageable to quilt on a domestic machine.
I really love baby quilts. they're perfect to improve free motion quilting and to test new patterns.
They're the perfect size to do not spend too much fabric and time.
Chevron kit and Apple jack are my faves from Christa's shop
Thanks for this chance to win
I think I would go for a throw size quilt, as it is not so big it is frightening, and then it is lovely to snuggle under and just be!
Thanks so much for the giveaway. I really like your blog.
lisadcox1@yahoo.com
Lap size quilt is my favorite:) thanks for the great giveaway!
I like both baby and throw size quilts/kits. Thanks!
waaw thanks for this giveaway! like your blog!
Not much help, but... I like them all! For exactly the reasons listed! :)
I'm a bed-sized quilt kinda gal :-) Thanks for the chance to win!
if it was to buy a kit I'd go with throw size, i'm a bit fussy about what colours/fabric I'd want on a bed sized one
I think throw size quilt--they'd be comfy to curl up under with a good book!
Hi I have never bought a kit! But I think the baby size would be great! There is always somebody having a baby! My email address is jenjeb@uno.com
Throw size for sure. ♥
baby or throw size...
unless it's a special project
I like the throw size, they are small enough to finish yet big enough to be useful for all ages. Thanks.
definitely the throw size, handy for curling up with a cat and a book and great for a gift.
I like a throw size.
baby size is very smart - easy to do and always can be gifted to new moms:)
I like throw size also!
I like the baby kits bc they are always cute and reasonably priced. Usually they are a gift, so it's easy to get a kit.
If I was making something for myself I like the throw size. I love variety, whether it's size or different color ways.
Thanks for the chance to win.
I like the throw size, because they are small enough to hand quilt (which is all I can do at the moment) but they are useful for all the family!
I like to make lap sized quilts. Big enough to be used by an adult but more manageable than a full bed quilt. I LOVE that multi-coloured zigzag quilt.
I've just become acquainted with Christa Quilts. Thanks so much for the giveaway.
I love the throw size too! And I love Christa Quilts
Thanks for the chance to win! Gift certificates from fabric shops are always welcome. :-)
I have never bought a kit because I like my quilts to be scrappy, and like to make my own fabric combinations, but if I would buy one it would be a throw size, I think.
Baby sized for me as I have been making king size lately and yearn for something small. jennylarking@gmail.com
I would like to make many more "toddler" quilts - not quite twin size, not really lap quilt and larger than a baby - just big enough for me five foot three - thank you for the giveaway !}
I prefer to make & use a throw size quilt. Thanks!
I love the throw-sized quilt, although baby quilts are so fast and easy! Thanks for the chance to win :)
I do think a throw size would be the best option for me.
I like throw sizes personally. Thanks for the giveaway!
I've never made a kit but if I did, it would be couch size. Thank you!
Baby quilt size... Thanks for the giveaway!
Throw size is good for me, not too quick, but worth the effort.
I like baby and Throws. Love the cutness of baby quilts. I actually do all sized but like these best for the managabilty. Thanks for the giveaway. Lynn
jnl4God@live.com
Hi Lucy, I've only bought 1 kit in my life, all precut...whoop! I guess I would have to vote for PRECUT bed size. Thank you !
I would only consider baby sized as a kit, but I don't really know why. I guess bigger quilts are more personal to me whereas baby sized would be handy to come as a kit and whip up quickly.
I've never bought a quilt kit before. I always hesitate because I usually cannot see all of the included fabrics and I worry about not liking all of them. If I were to buy a kit, I'd probably start with a crib or throw size.
Throw sized kits are most usable for me at the time (my babies got bigger :)) Many thanks for the great giveaway!
I would be more likely to buy a baby sized kit as the lap or larger ones are usually too expensive for me.
If I was going to buy a kit I would probably start with a small one, just because I tend to like to pick things out myself. I would also be MUCH more likely to buy a kit if all the pieces were already cut out, but I gather that isn't done much. Not sure why - I'd pay a small premium for that - it would let me get right to the sewing. Thanks for the chance to win!
How generous again! I think a baby sized quilt kit would be interesting - small enough not to be daunting but manageable for trying out new styles and techniques :D
