So yesterday I made a list of the projects I want to get finished...
last night I did a bit of work on one of them and I now have a cushion top!
Seriously paper piecing is a joy and this pattern is brilliant for a beginner. I'm hoping once you've got it it makes sense because I'm up for trying something more complicated.
I'm going to do a bit of machine and hand quilting on this and then get it finished up.
...So can anyone tell me why I've just spent way too long looking at patterns for various things and now have these two piles of fabric waiting to be turned into things that ARE NOT on my list?!!!
Internet (and by that I mean fabulous free tutorials and patterns) you are sometimes my nemesis.

loving the cushion cover, i have been desperately wanting to make some but for some reason haven't done it yet. also totally hear you on the project ADD, and the internet nemesis thing. le sigh!
Lists are sometimes like the rules that are made to be broken!! Your pillow cover looks amazing. :)
Lovely cushion top!
Stuff the list and have fun!
Great cushion top!
New fabric is always good to have =D
To Do lists are there to be worked around; love your postcards xxx
So very very pretty! You just have to finish this!
that cushion top is rather lovely. I think lists are sometimes just springboards for other stuff? So once you start doing, all sorts of other possibilities come up!
that is the fun of creativity!
Your cushion is great! I spend WAY too much time on the internet too!
I'm sure the trade off is one thing done, 2 more things on the list... ;o)
Lovely cushion cover Lucy! And I know what you mean about the Internet and all the darn wonderful tutorials and inspiration out there! Sooooo hard to stay focused on that To Do list!
Mmmmm you have some of my favorite fabrics going there Lucy. Yummy! I spy Denyse Schmidt and Amy Butler to name a few...delish...
Lol, but they're such pretty stacks! I've just started another quilt, but I'm yet to do my FAL list so I don't feel too bad...
