Unfortunately both kiddies are poorly, which has resulted in LOTS of cleaning here. yuck. I'm hoping this month will bring more sun and they can fight off these viruses.
It's a new month and I'm feeling really positive about it. My mind is running at 100mph and I have so many things I'm looking forward to making but for now here's what I did in April...
I'm chuffed with the bright colours and fun stuff I've done this month. Only one quilt finish, the Pezzy quilt but I'm hoping to get the Stained QAL finished up soon.
I loved making Catherine's name tag and doing embroidery for the Fat Quarterly retreat swap.
I was happy to make my first little pattern for the Big Polaroid mini quilt I made, as well as my first tutorial on how I piece my blocks. I also made cushions for the first time and even conquered invisible zips!! (it's not hard when you have Helen helping you!)
I also announced the next Fugly Fabric Party and my first sponsored giveaway, thanks to Prints to Polka Dots - it's a good un'!
The Fugly party kicks off on 8th May (*just realised that is in ONE week, get ready!!*) and I'm really excited about it :)
I have a good feeling about May (is it just that the retreat is getting closer?!) and hope you all have a wonderful month!
Going to look what you've all done in April and link up to Lynne's Fresh Sewing Day:
