I'm joining in with the Winter Stitching and had to check back to see what was on my list!!
Here's my progress:
Dead Simple Quilt - done
Drunkard's Path QAL - done
One baby quilt, which became Diagonal Stripe HST Quilt - done
2 quilts for my nieces, which became the Terrain Lattice Quilt and Terrain Lattice Quilt 2.0 - done
Does Not Compute Quilt - done
I've also managed to do a whole bunch of other makes that you can see here!
Blogger's BOM, keep up to date - done
Owl quilt - I have the fabric but it is creeping down the list of priorities so I'm not sure if this will get done this winter:
Secret Quilt - I've done nothing on this one and I'm not sure whether to abandon it.
Do more fmq practice and try to do some on actual quilts - done. I didn't remember I'd even put this on the list and it seems very serendipitous that that's what I'm currently working on!!
Love of Rain Quilt - the fabric is sitting staring at me:
Vintage Inspired/Modern Quilt - I am going to do the Across the Sea Quilt Along pattern for this. I have yummy repro fabric ready and am planning on hand quilting it. This quilt will be ALL MINE! I will start work on it soon though I hope. I'm wondering if I want to make it so much that I'm putting it off because I'm worried it won't be as good as it is in my head. Do you know what I mean?
So all in all I'm doing OK but I still have some really big projects to do...
I'm still a bit rubbish at not getting distracted and need to focus to finish something . I also have periods of doubting myself, which I hate because it makes me feel so useless and that's not really me. I'm battling through it though and my husband is wonderfully reassuring, always telling me just to do it and reminding me that most of what I want to do will only be living at our house and how will I get better if I don't keep working at it. I love that attitude. So I will continue to challenge myself and work at getting better, whilst having fun and sewing with abandon :)
I'm linking up to T.T.T. because it's Thursday!!

Oh, I like your wording on your like button so much I'm going to pinch it - hope you don't mind?! And well done with all those ticks on the list...and please don't doubt yourself, you're wonderful!
Lovely makes Lucy!
Yep, that focus thing's a bugger isn't it? :oD Love what you have managed to focus on though, especially the does not compute quilt
You've been busy! I really like the quilting on your drunkard's path quilt, I'm a big fan of quilting that speaks on its own.
WOW O WOW! Spectacular productivity and fabulous quilts! You are a machine!
You may have some big projects to work on, but you've also finished a TON of big stuff. Wow, way to go!!
If you're "a bit rubbish at not getting distracted and need to focus to finish something", there's no hope for the rest of us!
You've finished so many really beautiful things:)
You've completed some wonderful quilts there and I can't wait to see your vintage quilt it's bound to be lovely. Does not computer is sooo nice I daren't let me little boy see it for fear that he'll want one.
You may be a bit mental, but you are not rubbish!! These are some awesome finishes, and you Across The Sea will be completely beautiful xxx
I can dither over what to do so much I can easily and often do waste the best part of a day. Right with you there. Also the rubbish bit. I think you and everyone else is doing way better makes than me. Everything on your list is brilliant and you should be proud. Keep doing what you are doing because you are doing it right!
Hope you and your daughter have beaten the germs now. Get yourself a proper hula hoop - weighted, not one of those useless Tesco ones. Great exercise, can do it at home easily though probably safer outside, and it entertains the kids when you decide to ignore it. Trust me, I know this for a fact! ;-)
Good for you in keeping up with the Bloggers` BOM - I have slipped. Those fabrics will look great as an ATS quilt - I love that design so much. Lovely makes. Aren`t you productive?
Wow, you have been productive, well done!
So many nice things, but I especially love your Dead Simple quilt!
You have such great quilt finishes!
I know what you mean: nearly paralysed that the fab quilt in your head won't translate to the quilt you make. Go on - get started and you'll be just fine!
Amazing Lucy! Well done! More beautiful to come as well, cannot wait to see your next projects!
You are in the ZONE!!! Love love your quilts, you are getting so much done!
Such beautiful things you have made Lucy! :-) I can't believe how productive you have been. I smiled at your comment about doubting yourself... I feel the exact same way sometimes. But then I end up telling myself exactly what your husband tells you - who cares? It's not like I'm getting paid to make these. Most are gifts (and the people are just plain grateful) or for our house. And the more we make, the better we get!
The drunkard's quilt is so unique, I haven't seen one done that way it's great! You've kept your hands busy this winter! Have fun with your next projects!
Gosh, Lucy! You are so productive! I totally get what you are saying about a lack of focus. I have all these things I need to be working on, but can't seem to just get my stuff together and do it! Glad to hear that your husband is so supportive!
Wow! Just wow! That is sure a lot done in such a short amount of time. I'm impressed. And I actually like your Drunkards Path quilt though I would never ever do one myself. Curves and I do not get along whatsoever.
Lacking in focus is NOT something I would accuse you of goin by this AWESOME amount of fabulous makes! What are you on about numpty?!!! Gorgeous gorgeous work, and loving the sound of your plans too.
I love your husband's supportive attitude. Oh, yah.. and that put off starting thing b/c you're maybe afraid that it won't turn out as good as you picture it.. I totally have that too. :) You've gotten a TON of things done this winter, I love your ambition to conquer FMQ! I'm such a chicken STILL. xo
STOP DOUBTING YOURSELF LUCY! As everyone else has said beautiful makes and so productive!
Hubby is right - you have to do stuff in order to get better! Allow yourself to make mistakes that's the best way to learn - I know as I make them all the time!
Don't doubt yourself, you are rocking it girl! Look at all of those lovely quilts you've shown us. Keep thinking about how much you've made and how much you've grown and focus on that instead of doubt. It's easier said than done, I know. But keep it up!
WOW! What a great assortment of quilts. :)
I, too, have the same problem with focusing. Right now I am forcing myself to work on my Swoon quilt so that I can finish it in 2012. Must get it done before starting anything new. ;)
Lucy, you have been super productive! Everything is so lovely too :) The robot quilt is a riot!
Love your DSQAL quilt Lucy - great colours!!And the robot is so cute:)
