Before the baby I started the How Far Will You Go? QAL.
I loved making these blocks and I've been meaning to get back to it for some time but my WIPs are growing and my 'one day' list is getting too long so in an attempt to see how far I'd gone I laid out the blocks I've done:
And would you look at that!
I think that I've gone far enough and will be sewing these together as they are.
There's one little Tippecanoe block I made that will make a nice quilt label:
I feel bad that I didn't make them all but I think I'd feel worse leaving it and feeling guilty about it and I know that's not the spirit of the QAL.
I am happy to have gone this far!
If you have any finishes this week be sure to come back on Friday because I'm hosting TGIFF!

You seriously shouldn't feel bad Lu, especially when they look so fabulous together! Glad you pulled them all out, they make a gorgeous quilt top.
Nothing to feel bad about! This will be one beautiful quilt!
Your blocks are gorgeous Lucy! You will have a fabulous quilt.
I just love the color in your quilt
looks perfect!!!
Visiting from WIP wednesday. This is great. You have done heaps of work
I know what you mean about the wip and to do lists taking over! I think that it would be a real pity for these blocks to 'sleep' at the bottom of your wip pile when they come together so well to make a quilt as they are. It's going to be so pretty!
This will be just gorgeous, love your blocks
love the colors you choosed, and love the whole design,
You'll get back to that quilt someday. What a great start. Love your fabric choices.
You have the makings of a very pretty quilt top! Some piecing and borders and you'll be done! And all in your own good time too!
Lovely colours in this. I don't thin k it needs anymore anyway!
Great layout, Lucy! I think it's a perfect size just the way it is!
I love it as is! Well done Lucy!
I think it looks fabulous just as it is!
these blocks are so pretty! this will make a fantastic quilt, even if it isn't exactly what you set out to make in the first place. My WIP list may be long, but my someday list is sooooo much longer! there is just so much pretty fabric & wonderful things to do with it - my Mom says she will never live long enough to make all the quilts she wants to make :)
what fantastic blocks. the quilt top will be absolutely gorgeous!

Love your blocks Lucy! The colors choices are awesome.
I think it's awesome that you didn't put it back in your WIP pile in the hopes that "someday" you'll finish it. It's gorgeous just the way it is. Looking forward to seeing it finished!
It's beautiful. Good for you for going that far!
It's gorgeous! It will be a perfect finish!
This is just lovely! Both the fabrics and block combinations!
You should never feel bad! Life happens to us all, you know. Besides, I think the blocks you have will make a perfectly marvelous quilt! You go girl!
Don't feel bad! Your quilt looks perfectly finished the way it is.
I really like your arrangement. In making sampler quilts it never occurred to me to put blocks from the same pattern side by side--that design feature works really well. And your spacing of colors looks great.
Such pretty colors. It's beautiful!
I love it and the size is perfect. Sometimes we realize that finishing a set task isn't in the plans--our journey takes us somewhere else. Sewing this together and quilting it where you're at sounds just about right. :)
It looks fantastic Lucy!
Looks like it was meant to be!
You've just given me a flash of inspiration, do i really need to finish the last 4 blocks for my craftsy block of the month quilt? No, probably not, so it's achievable, thx Lucy, and fab blocks too, well done! :o)
beautiful colors. The quilt is looking great.
Beautiful fabric choices and blocks. I think that you went far enough to make a fab quilt. Di x
Looks like a complete quilt to me!
It's lovely! Totally far enough! I love that you have 1 block that is bigger than the others - I was trying to explain this to my sister this afternoon while we were planning her latest quilt, I wll have to send her to you for a look!! x
All your blocks look great together, i love the colour scheme, they'll make a lovely quilt :o)
Um... you had a baby!!!!!
Stitch 'em together - it looks great xxx

This definitely looks like it's far enough to me! Love the colours :D
I love what you did - great job!!
Great effort! I linked through to the instructions and I reckon you've done a great job. In my opinion you made all the difficult ones, ie the ones I would avoid! Your colours are great too.
Be proud! What you made is beautiful! Start stitching that top together, missy :)
It looks just right too me. Any more would be too much. I love the colours you've used!
Good call Lucy - your blocks look stunning and I love the label block which I hope to try very soon.
It's going to be a gorgeous quilt and I love the label block.
